It features a fall front drop top with inside cubby hole compartments. A sweet gold handled dovetailed drawer opens to a pencil shelf. When closed the front reveals a delicately carved vining facade embellishment on front and sides. Cabriole legs are graced by two knee acanthus and are finished with Ferd’s famous Ball and Claw foot.
The Workshop Wizard holds a special affection for this desk as it is reminiscent of the many love letters written to him by his wife Millie while he served overseas. Each desk comes with a miniaturized copy of one of their actual love letters tucked away safely inside of the drawer.
The Ladies Hand Caned Chair is a perfect companion lending an airy bit of feminine elegance with delicate hand caning on the back. The seat is upholstered in the finest of silks. 1/12th scale.
